About me
David Scott (Ph.D.) is an associate professor of curriculum and learning in the University of Calgary's Werklund School of Education. His research focuses on how non-Indigenous educators negotiate curricular directives to engage foundational Indigenous philosophies and historical experiences. He is particularly interested in how creating ethical spaces with Indigenous Elders and community members can help educators overcome the insecurities that often accompany this work.
