About me
Jo-Ann Kelly is an accomplished and dedicated Catholic school leader currently serving as the Religious Education and Curriculum Support Lead Teacher at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools (RDCRS). With over two decades of experience in education, Jo-Ann specializes in fostering spiritual growth and academic excellence through curriculum support, faith-based professional development, and strategic leadership. Jo-Ann holds a Master of Religious Education (With Distinction) from Newman Theological College, where she also received the prestigious Emmaus Award. A recognized leader in the field of Catholic Education, Jo-Ann is an active member of the Religious Education Network (REN) and has served on several committees for the Alberta Catholic School Trustees' Association (ACSTA), including the S.P.I.C.E. Conference Planning Committee. She also contributed to the development of the Catholic strand for the ULead Conference. Furthermore, Jo-Ann serves as an OCIA leader at her home parish of St Mary's Parish in Red Deer. Jo-Ann's presentation today is informed by deep experience in strengthening the essential partnership between Parish, School, and Home to create vibrant Catholic learning communities.
