About me
I am an educator and advocate with more than 40 years of experience in teaching, child development, and equity-centered practice. Holding a Doctorate in Cultural Responsiveness and a Master's in Change Management and Contemplative Practices, I support schools in creating learning environments where every student and adult feels seen, supported, and valued. My work is shaped not only by research, but by my own ongoing recovery from the racism I internalized while growing up in a culture shaped by white privilege and dominant norms. This personal journey strengthens my commitment to a compassionate, reflective approach and to fostering spaces where awareness and growth can happen without shame.
