About me
Greg Bowes, born and raised in southern Saskatchewan, holds a BSc and BEd from the University of Saskatchewan, where he also played for the Huskies Basketball team. After beginning his teaching career in Lethbridge, he joined Horizon School Division in 2010, spending 12 years at WR Myers High School as a teacher, Athletic Director, and Vice Principal. Now in his fourth year as Vice Principal and Learning Support Teacher at D.A. Ferguson Middle School, Greg is known for his strong leadership, deep care for people, and ability to build community through respect, equity, and humor. Whether coaching teams, solving challenges, or encouraging students and staff, he leads with calm confidence and heart—embodying the very best of educational leadership.
